Order Confirmation

An order confirmation is sent via email shortly after you have placed your order. You will receive a second email notification once your order has been shipped. 

Please be sure to check your spam folder if your confirmation is missing.

Order Status

All orders are marked as fulfilled when we begin the processing phase

Once orders are shipped, they are marked as such in the Track My Order section of the website.

If your order is not marked as shipped, it has not been dispatched yet.

Order Shipping

You will receive an automated dispatch notification via email once your order has shipped. It will include a tracking number. Approximately 24 hours later the tracking number will also be uploaded to the website. 

You can then follow check the progress via our Track My Order feature.

Order Processing Times

We aim to dispatch all in stock items in three to five working days. Processing times can be longer during high volume times, during holidays and due to adverse weather conditions. Please also consider that we do not keep every single item in physical stock and may need to wait for new deliveries to arrive from the brands in question.

Please rest assured your order will be shipped as soon as we are able.

Can I Cancel Or Change An Order?

Once an order is placed it cannot be canceled nor adjusted.

Returns

Please note that we do not accept unsolicited returns. If you plan on returning an order, please contact victoria@greatlakesboutique.net to notify us of your intent.

You must notify us of your intent to return within five days of receipt of your order.

Orders must be returned within 14 days of receiving the order.

We do not accept returns on orders placed during sales or promotions.

We cannot accept returns on earrings for hygiene reasons.

  • If you purchased a full kit of beads, the entire kit must be returned.
  • We do not accept liability for return shipping unless a product is faulty or incorrect.
  • We do not accept liability for products that fail to return to us and are missing in transit.
  • Products purchased during sales & promotions are not eligible for return
  • We do not accept liability for import taxes incurred nor do we accept returns on products returned to us due to failure to pay such taxes and fees.
  • Orders returned to us due to refusal to pay import taxes will not be refunded.
  • If you return part of an order and therefore never qualified for our free shipping offer, shipping fees will be deducted from the refund.

Order Tracking & Shipping Times

Once an order has been shipped we have no control over the route or the speed of transit.

We do not have access to any information beyond what you see on the tracking page.

During the ongoing pandemic, we are seeing extremely long shipping times. Unfortunately this is out of our control.

Shipping Charges

We only ship via USPS and USPS First Class International.

For domestic customers, shipping is free on orders of $50 or more excluding sales or promotional items.

For international customers, shipping is free on orders of $75 or more excluding sales or promotional items.

During sales periods, you may find shipping charges are applied to your order regardless of whether it qualifies via the above details. If that is the case shipping will be refunded when we process the order.

If your items are in the sale, you are participating in Loyalty Wheel offers or other promotions, your order will be subject to shipping charges. 

For domestic orders we charge $4.

For international orders we charge $18.

International Shipping

We offer international shipping to select regions only. If available your country will show at checkout.

Customers residing in regions we do not cater to are welcome to use U.S. mail forwarding addresses. These services will provide you with a U.S. shipping address. You can find businesses that offer those services by searching Google.

Import Taxes & Fees

Your order may be subject to additional import taxes in accordance with your own local law.

These taxes are the sole responsibility of the customer.

You can access your customer account portal here.

There you will find details of your previous orders, update your address and access both your wish list and your Gratitude Points section.

Gratitude Points

Gratitude Points is the Great Lakes Boutique loyalty system. You earn points for almost all orders you place via our website. 

Points can be redeemed for discount codes that you can then use against future orders.

Please note that all new releases are exempt from discounts during their immediate launch window.

Please be aware that points do decay over time.

Gratitude Points cannot be applied to items already on sale, those that are part of a promotion or event exclusive products.
