This Silver & Opal Necklace has an unusual, almost mystical vibe to it. The pendant itself is an oval piece, engraved with small stars and circles around the edge. It frames an elongated opal that has a lovely shimmering color to it. Opals are color shifting stones, so their exact shade or the visibility of the characteristic flashes, does alter depending on the light and the angle it hits the stone. Nevertheless it has a soft, pale blue, almost misty color to it that gives it a very ethereal vibe.
The necklace itself measures 24 inches in length with a chain width of 1.5 mm. The pendant measures 46 mm in length by 16 mm in width. The opal alone measures 21 mm in length by 5.7 mm in width. Combined the necklace and pendant weigh 9.4 grams.
