It has been the craziest few days here at GLB! There are new releases everywhere and to top that off we're now less than three weeks from the start of Bead Bash on the Lake Fall 2019.
The Trollbeads Autumn 2019 collection has put me completely in the mood for fall and I've had such fun styling the new beads. Tonight however we've launched a new gemstone on the website and this charm bracelet blog both introduces it and shares a little inspiration on styling it.
The stone in question is The Palace of Amber Pseudomorph Agate and it's both amazing and unusual. If bead world had a capsule collection, this would absolutely feature for the fall. It looks a little like tree bark or perhaps like autumn sunshine shining though a very dense forest.
It's somewhat of a trickster in it's appearance. In dark light these resemble lumps of chocolate. In the sunshine they reveal so many different shades and patterns.
More beads for Bead Bash have been unveiled over the last week and I've been so excited to put them all together and give everyone the idea of the vision behind this event. Remember the theme is that of An Enchanted Weekend and you can start to see how all of the designs come together.
Do note that The Palace of Amber Pumpkin Cauldron (third bangle down, focal bead,) is already available on the website but stock is already a little low.
I've personally been wearing the Pumpkin Cauldron flipped around for now. As much as I love Halloween, I also like to appreciate the fall season itself. The rear of this bead is beautifully decorated with a pumpkin vine design and the leaves perfectly completely the upcoming The Palace of Amber Pumpkin Patch.
Once again the latter is an event bead for Bead Bash on the Lake and it's not available until the weekend itself. That's September the 27th, 28th and 29th.
The Bella Fascini Light the Way is the focal on the second bangle, flanked by the new Pseudomorph Agate.
This lantern design is a great focal as it's quite large and there's something so cozy feeling about it. For those of you yet to explore Bella Fascini, this is going to be an ideal place to begin.
The third bangle uses the upcoming Bella Fascini Flying Witch. Also make his first live appearance on this bangle is the Bella Fascini Pine Cone Moose. Both of these are launching during the event. I'm a huge fan of the moose designs but where quite a few of them feel really festive, the Summer Moose and Pine Cone Moose are definitely year round beads.
Finally the hauntingly beautiful The Palace of Amber Noctis is the focal for this bangle. It felt apt that he's sat between two Pseudomorph Agates. As mentioned these resemble tree bark making them ideal for any kind of forest inspired creation.
I'll be the first to admit this is a lot of bangles and makes for a heavy stack. In reality I'd have to split this between both wrists but it looks so effective in person, especially in the September sunshine. The Pseudomorph Agates bring an element of shading and waning sun. Meanwhile the Pumpkin Patch radiate light. It's like some kind of battle as the seasons shift and it's very, very dramatic.
Be sure to grab those gemstones while you can!
